Job summary

OVHcloud in the Philippines is seeking a data center technician to provide level 1 support to datacenter teams, subsidiaries, and OVH customers, and to help set up and maintain datacenters. You will join a dedicated operations crew, monitor systems, respond to incidents, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with technical teams.

Knowledge of physical datacenter infrastructure and good communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• The technician's mission is to ensure the continuous, reliable, and efficient operation of the data center, supporting the operations team in maintaining high availability and minimizing service disruptions.
• The technician is an integral member of the data center operations team and is responsible for providing daily operational support, shift coverage, monitoring, incident response, preventive maintenance, and coordination with relevant technical teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department, meeting the requirements set out in the quality management system.
• Work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors.
• Any related knowledge or experience with OVH products is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to follow and document internal procedures.
• Advanced sense of service.
• Good communication skills within a team.
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Able to draft reports to communicate progress and highlight delays.
• Forklift driving experience would be desirable but not necessary.
• Organized, autonomous and adaptable.
• Experienced resource who can operate with greater independence, handle complex hardware and operational issues.
