Job summary

S&R Membership Shopping is looking for a seasoned warehouse leader to oversee the cold storage distribution center in Cebu City, Philippines. You will drive end-to-end operations, ensure efficient picking, and maintain strict inventory controls to prevent stockouts.

You will manage budgets, enforce food safety and regulatory compliance, and lead a team with a focus on energy efficiency and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• 4 years of warehouse management experience, preferably cold storage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operations of the cold storage distribution center.
• Ensure fast and smooth picking of merchandise and non-merchandise based on picking list.
• Ensure accurate documentation of items through counting and recording outbound transactions.
• Analyze work methods and distribution to maximize productivity.
• Manage inventory to minimize stockouts or overstock.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
• Implement temperature control measures for proper storage.
• Supervise and train operation staff on best practices.
• Develop strategies for operational efficiency, including space optimization and energy reduction.
• Coordinate with supplies, logistics, and other departments.
• Prepare and manage budgets for the cold storage facility.
• Conduct audits and inspections for proper handling and movement.
• Monitor KPIs to improve performance.
• Report on performance to the DC Manager.

• Supervise and lead operation staffs, providing guidance and training on best practices.

• Develop and execute strategies for operational efficiency, including optimizing storage space and reducing energy consumption.

• Coordinate with supplies, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Prepare and manage budgets for the cold storage facility.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure proper handling, labeling, and movement of products.

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve overall performance.

• Report on the performance of the cold storage facility to the DC Manager.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).

• Proven experience (4 years) in warehouse management, preferably in cold storage or food logistics.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• In-depth knowledge of cold storage operations, temperature control, and safety standards.

• Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
