Job summary

RCBC in the Philippines seeks an IT Operations Associate to help ensure reliable IT infrastructure and system software. You will design, implement, maintain, and manage these systems while complying with bank standards and MLPP regulations.

Daily duties include handover between shifts, submitting logs and reports, coordinating batch processing, operating consoles, performing backups, and participating in system testing.

Qualifications

• College/University degree required.
• Fundamental networking, database administration, and data center operations knowledge.
• 1 year of hands-on experience in networking, database administration, data center operations, or technical support.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates proper shift turnover to the next shift.
• Submits and updates daily operations logs and reports.
• Facilitates daily batch processing and printing functions. Monitors batch processes and coordinates with other technical staff.
• Operates computer consoles and peripherals.
• Handles regular backup of all systems and facilitates restoration as needed.
• Participates in system testing and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maitains an adequate level of computer supplies.
• Handles administrative work as assigned.
