You will design, implement, and document data-center network architectures; configure routers and switches (Cisco, Huawei); monitor performance; coordinate with vendors and internal teams; and provide after-hours support to minimize

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
1 year of hands-on experience in network engineering or related role.
Proficiency in LAN/WAN technologies and router/switch troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs and monitoring tools.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles for securing network infrastructure.
Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on network infrastructure per SLAs.
Configure and optimize routers and switches to meet standards.
Assess data center network readiness for new IT equipment installations.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
Communicate major incidents with timely updates and plans.
Lead or support network projects for data center integration.
Monitor performance, generate capacity reports, and plan maintenance.
Analyze recurring issues and document findings to prevent disruptions.
Design, implement, and document data center network architectures.
Provide after-hours support for critical network issues.
