Job summary

vCustomer Philippines, Inc. seeks a Telecommunications Engineer to design and implement telecom network infrastructure within a data centre, ensuring reliable, scalable, high-performance connectivity.

You will collaborate with network engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to produce designs, specifications, and deployment documentation, and oversee deployment, testing, and commissioning while meeting performance and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Telecommunications.
• 3-5 years coordinating engineering teams in technical areas.
• Strong telecommunications background.
• Experience with MS Visio and AutoCAD.
• Good documentation skills (TSSR, diagrams, As-built).
• Familiar with BOQ for telco equipment.
• Understanding resilience and sustainability requirements.
• Knowledge of WHSQE requirements.
• Strong English communication (written, verbal).
• Able to manage competing deadlines.
• Experience coordinating with international vendors.
• Advanced computer & Microsoft proficiency.
• LSD and Modeling Database experience preferred.
• Knowledge on Data Center BMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop telecommunications infrastructure within data centre environments.
• Prepare network designs, schematics, specifications, and installation standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate telecom systems with data centre infrastructure.
• Oversee deployment, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure performance and reliability.
• Create and manage work packages, SOPs, and acceptance tests.
• Support cross-functional teams in developing Engineering Work Packages for internal clients.
• Ensure compliance with IT and security policies and procedures.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
