Job summary

Internetwork Expert in the Philippines seeks a seasoned Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage its global corporate IT network. You will gather requirements, design solutions, and uphold foundational architecture and security standards.

You will monitor network health, handle on-call duties, troubleshoot incidents, manage changes and upgrades, and produce capacity reports and operational guides for ongoing improvements across multi-site environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or other related field.
• 3-7+ years in network engineering/operations in a multi-site, multi-national company.
• Competency in at least three products (WAN, LAN, WLAN/Wireless, Data Center, Security, Voice).
• Competency in at least one technical domain in each product listed and in multiple tech domains in at least one product.
• Can troubleshoot end-to-end network issues and implement changes as directed.
• Writes project-related documentation including design plans, cost summaries, implementation plans, and handoff docs.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the corporate IT network.
• Gathers requirements and design solutions to meet global network infrastructure needs.
• Establishes and maintains foundational network architecture and standards.
• Monitors, manages, and maintains network health and integrity.
• Executes on-call duties as part of the on-call rotation.
• Triage, troubleshooting and incident management; escalation for reactive operations.
• Manages change implementation including hardware/software upgrades and post-testing.
• Interfaces with security teams to deliver security enhancements.
• Develops capacity models and performance metrics; delivers reports and plans.
