Job summary

ResultsCX is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to support a Cisco-based infrastructure across North America and Asia, with a focus on the Data Center in Pasig, PH. You will rack, stack, cabling, and participate in 24x7 rotations to keep network services running smoothly.

You'll configure routers, switches, firewalls; maintain diagrams; and collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and clients to implement new sites and technology. Strong documentation and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
• CCNA credentials preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years IT experience supporting IT infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and common network services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP(s), SSH).
• Expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem resolution.
• Experience with monitoring solutions such as OpenNMS or WhatsUp Gold.
• Proven ability to multi-task between operations and project work.
• Strong documentation, communication skills, and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of Operations change management initiatives, including work requests and related hours in workflow tool.
• Configure, test, analyze and maintain router, switch and firewall gear.
• Develop and maintain accurate network diagrams and information.
• Identify and resolve ongoing LAN and WAN problems.
• Analyze network traffic and make growth recommendations.
• Resolve daily network related issues.
• Participate in On-Call rotation for 24x7 operations support.
• Manage IOS upgrades and patches for network gear.
• Maintain firewall configurations for security requirements.
• Manage remote access VPN configuration and interconnects.
• Travel to local Data Center collocation for installation/maintenance.
• Meet with IT teams, vendors and clients to strategize new sites and technologies.
