Job summary

TEMU is seeking a Network Engineer in the Philippines to oversee campus network planning, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring high availability of wired, wireless, and internet gateways.

The role focuses on configuring network equipment, monitoring traffic, incident response, and guiding frontline engineers. English proficiency and CCNP/CCIE are preferred qualifications for the role.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of network operations and maintenance experience; candidates with experience independently managing networks in medium to large enterprises are preferred
• Proficient in the principles and configuration optimization of protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MSTP, and VRRP; experienced with Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper devices
• Master firewall policy management (Palo Alto/Fortinet, etc.), IPsec/SSLVPN, NAT, ACL, 802.1X, NAC
• Be proficient in using common network troubleshooting tools (Ping, MTR, Wireshark, etc.)
• Possesses strong logical thinking skills for troubleshooting and the ability to handle pressure
• Strong sense of responsibility, excellent service orientation, and good communication and on-site troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in English is preferred; CCNP/CCIE will be preferred

• Responsible for the overall planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of the company's campus network, including wired and wireless networks and the internet gateway
• Responsible for managing and configuring network equipment, including switches and routers, and ensuring their proper operation and high availability
• Responsible for network deployment at new sites, including cabling inspections, bringing equipment online, implementing network policy changes, assigning IP addresses, and monitoring network links
• Continuously optimize network performance, analyze network traffic and bottlenecks, and propose and implement improvement plans
• Respond rapidly to, diagnose, and resolve network failures to ensure high availability of business systems
• Analyze, testing, verifying, and resolving daily network faults and complex network issues, as well as supporting frontline operations engineers

• 2.Responsible for managing and configuring network equipment, including but not limited to switches and routers, and ensuring their proper operation and high availability.

• 3.Responsible for network deployment at new sites, including but not limited to conducting cabling inspections, bringing equipment online, implementing network policy changes, assigning IP addresses, and monitoring network links.

• 4.Continuously optimize network performance, analyze network traffic and bottlenecks, and propose and implement improvement plans.

• 5.Respond rapidly to, diagnose, and resolve network failures to ensure high availability of business systems.

• 6.Responsible for analyzing, testing, verifying, and resolving daily network faults and complex network issues, as well as supporting and guiding frontline operations engineers.

Qualification

• 3 to 5 years of network operations and maintenance experience; candidates with experience independently managing networks in medium to large enterprises are preferred

• Proficient in the principles and configuration optimization of protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MSTP, and VRRP; experienced in operating and maintaining devices from at least two brands of the following: Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper

• Master firewall policy management (Palo Alto Networks/Fortinet, etc.), IPsec/SSLVPN, NAT, ACL, 802.1X, and NAC access control;

• Be proficient in using common network troubleshooting tools (Ping, MTR, Wireshark, etc.);

• Possesses strong logical thinking skills for troubleshooting and the ability to handle pressure, and can independently manage unexpected network incidents

• Strong sense of responsibility, excellent service orientation, and good communication and on-site troubleshooting skills;

• Proficiency in English is preferred;

• Relevant network certifications such as CCNP/CCIE will be preferred.
