Bernales & Associates is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and improve processes in a fast-paced BPO environment.

The role emphasizes advanced Excel proficiency, stakeholder communication, and presenting insights to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant data analysis experience, preferably in a fast-paced BPO.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, data validation, and lookup functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of SQL for data extraction is a plus.
• Experience in workforce management or operations reporting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with KPI reporting in a call center or BPO environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and performance trackers to monitor operational KPIs.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve business performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations based on data findings.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for management and clients.
• Monitor operational metrics such as service levels, productivity, customer satisfaction, and other performance indicators.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality Assurance, Workforce Management, and other departments to support business initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports.
• Automate manual reporting processes whenever possible using advanced Excel functions and tools.
• Present analytical findings clearly to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
