The Customer Development Supervisor (CDS) is responsible for leading and executing customer acquisition and retention strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share. This role focuses on building long-term partnerships with key accounts, ensuring excellent customer service, and supervising a team of sales representatives. The CDS is expected to drive sales growth by developing and implementing strategic customer development plans aligned with the company’s goals.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product penetration and market share within assigned territories or key accounts.
Supervise and support a team of sales representatives in achieving individual and team targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify and develop new business opportunities, including prospecting new clients and converting leads to active customers.
Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide data-driven insights to management.
Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align promotional efforts and customer feedback with product strategies.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sales agreements in compliance with company policies.
Conduct regular customer visits and fieldwork to understand market needs, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
Train and mentor junior sales team members to improve their performance and product knowledge.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or any related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in sales or customer development, preferably in the FMCG industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
Willing to be assigned in Iloilo.
