Cepat Kredit Financing Inc in Pasig is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the custody of assets, develop compliance policies, and lead a team of custodianship specialists. This role demands at least 5 years of relevant experience in asset management or custodianship, with strong leadership capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and a Master's degree or certifications will be advantageous. The position includes full-time office work and occasional site visits.
Oversee the safe custody of assets held by the company, including real estate, financial assets, and collateral, ensuring their protection and proper management.
Ensure that assets are accurately recorded, classified, and regularly monitored to guarantee their integrity and safeguard the company’s interests.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for the custodianship of assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Maintain accurate records of all assets under custodianship, including detailed information on ownership, valuation, and custody terms.
Prepare regular reports on the status of custodial assets, detailing any risks, discrepancies, or notable changes in asset conditions.
Ensure the timely submission of reports to senior management, outlining key information related to asset performance, risks, and compliance.
Identify and assess potential risks associated with the custody of assets and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
Ensure that assets are appropriately insured and protected from potential threats, such as theft, damage, or loss.
Monitor external market trends and regulatory changes that may affect custodial practices or asset values.
Ensure that all custodial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including industry standards for asset management and custodianship.
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements and ensure that custodial practices meet all legal obligations.
Keep abreast of changes in custodianship laws, tax implications, and other regulatory matters that may affect the management of assets.
Manage and lead a team of custodianship professionals, ensuring they are trained, knowledgeable, and equipped to perform their responsibilities effectively.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement development plans to improve team skills and efficiency.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration within the custodianship team.
Develop and enforce internal control procedures to ensure the accurate tracking and secure handling of assets.
Review and enhance custodial processes to improve efficiency, minimize errors, and reduce the risk of asset mismanagement.
Oversee periodic internal audits and inspections of assets to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal departments, external partners, and regulatory authorities regarding custodianship matters.
Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on custodial asset performance, risks, and compliance.
Work closely with departments such as finance, legal, and operations to align custodianship activities with broader organizational goals.
Oversee the appropriate disposal or liquidation of assets, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies, as well as transparency in the process.
Work with asset disposal teams or external vendors to maximize value recovery from disposed or liquidated assets.
Maintain proper documentation and records of asset disposal transactions, ensuring they are reflected accurately in company records.
Other duties as assigned to ensure the effective and efficient management of assets, including assisting with ad hoc tasks or supporting other departments as needed.
Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications in asset management, custodianship, or compliance are a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in custodianship, asset management, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Full-time position, primarily in an office environment, with occasional site visits to inspect or manage assets.
Occasional travel may be required to visit external custodianship sites or liaise with third-party vendors.
