Job summary

ZigZag is looking for an Underwriter to join our team in the Philippines. You will provide operational and administrative support to the Credit Risk and Underwriting functions, assisting with merchant and customer applications and ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently.

This role requires meticulous data handling, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in line with SLAs. You will collaborate with brokers, customers, and internal teams to uphold accuracy and service

Qualifications

• Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with financial services operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing and review of merchant and customer applications for underwriting.
• Capture, verify, and maintain accurate applicant information and documentation.
• Conduct credit bureau checks and data verification tasks as required by underwriting.
• Assist with preparation of application summaries, offers, and re-advance documentation.
• Ensure all applications and supporting documents are processed accurately and in line with internal policies and SLAs.
• Perform administrative and operational tasks to support daily business operations.
• Handle workflow management, document processing, and application tracking.
• Respond to merchant enquiries relating to Credit Risk and Underwriting.
