BDO Unibank is seeking a Credit Officer to gather and validate borrower information, coordinate with concerned officers, and prepare reports on findings noted during the credit investigation.

You will evaluate applications according to policies, prepare and recommend proposals within the turn‑around time, and ensure accurate customer data in the front‑end system, while attending meetings and documenting daily productivity.

Qualifikationen

• College graduate, preferably of any business course.
• With at least 2 years work experience in credit review.
• Understanding of the basic Credit System.
• Must be able to comfortably interface with IT/System Support and third-party service providers.
• Knowledge of techniques and tools.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to the CI of the loan applications.
• Prepare reports on findings noted during the credit investigation.
• Prepare tabulated proof of sales.
• Evaluate credit application according to credit policies and guidelines.
• Prepare and recommend credit proposals on all applications received within the agreed turn-around time (TAT).
• Ensure accurate and prompt update of customer personal information and/or application status in the relevant front-end processing system.
• Investigate complaints from various units/departments regarding erroneous data capture and give feedback to the concerned party.
• Give relevant feedback with regard to matters that affect the quality of evaluation and turn-around time.
• Ensure submission of daily productivity report.
• Attend required internal and external meetings and training (regular & periodic).
• Document filing.
• Other tasks assigned by the ACH.

A Credit Officer will be responsible for one or a combination of these duties:

2. Credit Evaluation

• Evaluate credit application according to credit policies and guidelines
• Prepare and recommend credit proposals on all applications received within the agreed turn-around time (TAT)

3. Other Functions

• Investigate complaints from various units/departments regarding erroneous data capture and give feedback to the concerned party. Initiate and recommend actions to correct the discrepancy
• Give relevant feedback with regard to matters that affect the quality of evaluation and turn-around time
• Ensure submission of daily productivity report
• Attend required internal and external meetings and training (regular & periodic)
• Document filing
• Other tasks assigned by the ACH
