Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. in Mandaluyong City seeks a Credit Officer who acts as the alternate loan approver for Salary Loans and assists the Area Credit Head in checking and approving loan applications according to the bank's standards and guidelines.

• At least 5 years experience in unsecured loans.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees that proper checking, validation, documentation, filing, loan computation, reporting, and all other collections and credit processes are done properly and in a timely manner.
• Initiates quality and productive checking measures to ensure individual performance is within set guidelines.
• Assist the Area Credit Head in checking and improving the efficiency and effectivity of the loan process team, comprising of the credit assistants, billing assistants, collections officers and assistants and other loan personnel that may be assigned to the team.
• Also perform other functions that maybe assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Job Mandate:

This position assists the Area Credit Head in all responsibilities, including checking and approving loan applications, ensuring that all loan applications are processed and approved / decided according to the standards, policies and guidelines of the Bank
