Job summary

JPMorganChase Philippines seeks a Financial Statement Spreading Analyst to convert complex borrower data into clear, decision-ready insights, spread financial statements, and abstract key terms from loan documents to support sound credit decisions.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across credit and operations, ensure data quality, maintain documentation standards, and meet service-level commitments while using internal systems to produce accurate outputs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in banking, mortgage, financial analysis, or loan operations.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and spread/abstract data accurately.
• Experience with lending/servicing documents (lease, mortgage, credit agreements).
• Strong verbal and written communication across levels.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision within guidelines.
• Proficient in Excel and Access for data interpretation.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Good time management and prioritization; able to handle multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and complete spreading per guidelines.
• Process statements and documents (appraisals, certificates) and abstract data.
• Review loan and mortgage documents and process transactions per SLA.
• Interpret legal/underwriting docs to support lending needs.
• Research requests and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Use internal systems to interpret data, analyze results, document outcomes.
• Follow up on missing or deficient documentation with stakeholders.
• Apply judgment within documented guidelines and escalation paths.
