About the role

PTC Commercial Corporation is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Credit Collector to join our dynamic team in Tondo, Manila City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our credit management operations. As a Credit Collector, you will be responsible for recovering outstanding payments and maintaining healthy credit portfolios for our clients. Your work will directly contribute to the financial stability and growth of PTC Commercial Corporation, ensuring that our credit operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Contact debtors via telephone, email, and in-person visits to collect outstanding payments on overdue accounts
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients to resolve outstanding debts
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all collection activities, payment arrangements, and communications with debtors
• Prepare regular reports on collection progress, recovery rates, and accounts receivable status
• Follow company policies and procedures whilst adhering to relevant credit and debt collection regulations

• Attempt to resolve customer disputes and complaints professionally and courteously
• Update customer account information and payment histories in the company database

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in credit collection, debt recovery, or a similar credit-related role within the banking and financial services sector
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients across all demographics
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple accounts simultaneously
• Proficiency in using credit management software and database systems
• A results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding collection targets
• Sound knowledge of credit policies, debt collection procedures, and relevant financial regulations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining account records and documentation
• Ability to work independently whilst remaining accountable to supervisory oversight
• Patience, empathy, and resilience when dealing with difficult situations or resistant clients
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
• A minimum of one year's experience in credit or collection-related roles is preferred
