About the role

We are seeking a Credit & Collection Specialist to join our team at PTC Commercial Corporation. This is a full-time position based in Tondo, Manila City, Metro Manila. As a Credit & Collection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing credit operations and collection activities, ensuring optimal portfolio performance and supporting the organisation's financial objectives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in credit management whilst contributing directly to the company's success.

What you'll be doing

• Evaluating credit applications and assessing creditworthiness of prospective clients using financial analysis and credit assessment tools


• Processing credit approvals, denials, and modifications in accordance with company policies and lending guidelines


• Managing accounts receivable and monitoring collection activities to ensure timely payment recovery


• Contacting clients regarding outstanding payments and negotiating payment arrangements or settlement terms


• Preparing and maintaining accurate credit documentation, records, and reports


• Investigating delinquent accounts and pursuing appropriate collection strategies


• Liaising with clients, internal departments, and external agencies to resolve credit-related issues


• Monitoring credit limits and portfolio performance to identify risks and opportunities for improvement


• Maintaining compliance with relevant credit and collection regulations and company procedures


• Supporting the development of collection strategies and credit policies

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of experience in credit management, collections, or a related financial services role


• Strong understanding of credit assessment principles, lending guidelines, and collection practices


• Proficiency with credit management software and financial analysis tools
