Job summary

Maya is looking for a Collection Associate to perform collection activities for pre-delinquent and past-due accounts. You will strive to meet targets and productivity standards while complying with policies.

The role requires handling calls, updating loan records, and coordinating payment options with clients to protect recovery outcomes. Must possess a BS degree in Finance or related field and proven experience in lending/credit card collections; strong attention to detail and ability to work

Proven working experience as collection associates for lending and credit card

Responsibilities

Performs collection activities for pre-delinquent and past due accounts.
Achieve targets and productivity standards collectively with other team members and compliance with policies and procedures.
Handles collection call outs and maintains update records of loan payments and client information.
Monitors progress of existing loans/dues; coordinates with clients on payments and options.
Prepares statements and recon on clients loan; writes collection letters.
Submits productivity/collection related reports; strategizes to achieve targets.
Willing to work long hours, weekends and holidays; shifting schedule.
Addresses various customer issues; evaluates and recommends approval/disapproval of waiver requests.
