Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking a Credit Assistant to handle the initial review and processing of salary loan applications in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include ensuring loan requirements are complete before approval and release, scheduling loan releases, filing and warehousing documents, and encoding data into loan systems. The role also covers providing regular MIS reports, assisting the Credit Officer, and backing up Billing Assistants to ensure timely

Qualifications

• College graduate, preferably with business background.
• Fresh graduates welcome but must have good scholastic records.
• Preferably with 6 months relevant work experience in unsecured loan operations.
• Hardworking, diligent, attentive to details, can work well under pressure, organized, with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling of loan releases, filing and warehousing applications and documents, organizing loan folders, encoding of necessary data and results into the loans system/s.
• Provides regular MIS, reports and forms according to standard process.
• Assists the Credit Officer in activities required in the processing, checking, evaluating, and maintaining of loans.
• Acts as the back-up of the Billing Assistants, and as such is responsible for the timely consolidation and submission of complete billings to the DedEd Regional Payroll Services Unit and other Institutional Payroll Units and responsible for the effective monitoring of takeout account billing deductions.

Point person for receiving all applications from Sales Support Assistants in accordance with established cut-off time. The Credit Assistant is responsible for the initial review and processing of loan applications in accordance with the established policies and procedures for salary loans.

Duties and Responsibilities
