Job summary

Remote Raven is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our US-based finance team remotely from the Philippines. The role focuses on accurate recording of transactions, vendor invoices, PO tracking, and reconciliations, with training provided for SAP Concur.

You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, following Arizona business hours (overnight in the Philippines). This position emphasizes meticulous adherence to procedures and prompt escalation of discrepancies.

Qualifications

• CPA licensed and in good standing; license number requested during assessment.
• At least 2 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Experience recording transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Knowledge of debits/credits, AP/AR, and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills with lookups and pivots.
• Available to work Arizona hours Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks Online on time.
• Review vendor invoices and process accounts payable through to payment.
• Process PO requests from internal stakeholders.
• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support accounts receivable as directed.
• Expense reporting via SAP Concur (training provided).
• Support month-end close and maintain organized supporting documents.
