Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is hiring for U.S. accounting roles based in the Philippines. This remote, full-time night-shift position partners with top-tier U.S. CPA firms and demanding clients to deliver precise books, timely financial reporting, and insightful advisory notes.

You will manage full-cycle accounting, prepare financial statements, and support decision-making with clear analyses. CPA or non-CPA is welcome; English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of U.S. accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• QuickBooks Online proficiency; experience with Xero, Bill.com, G-Suite/Excel is a plus.
• Experienced CPA or non-CPA — both welcome.
• Strong English communication skills and client-facing experience.
• Ownership mentality and ability to manage multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for U.S. clients: AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, month-end close.
• Prepare timely financial statements (Balance Sheets, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn and runway.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts; resolve discrepancies.
• Run payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with approvals and deductions.
• Standardize checklists, SOPs, and close calendars; identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based teammates and translate financials for clients.
