Job summary

First Multi Tech Industrial & Development Corp. in Mandaluyong seeks a Costing Engineer who will prepare accurate project estimates and cost data for proposals and negotiations. Position Summary:

The incumbent shall cater to all cost and estimate works coming from the Sales and Business Development Department. The costing works shall be done with high accuracy and within the allotted time.

Organizational Setting:

Reports to: Project Manager, Project Supervisor, and Costing Head

Coordinates with: Sales Executives, Coordinators, Purchasers, Sub-contractors, Suppliers, and co-Project Engineers

Supervises: Not Applicable

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects.
• Prepare cost data for proposals and contract negotiations.
• Determine project scope, define requirements, work with FMIDC Sales, BDD Team, and Technical Group to coordinate the scope of supply and local works, and meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Establish quote priorities based on evaluation and analysis of overall opportunities.
• Estimating materials and labor for each project for bidding assigned to the costing team.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine project costs.
• Provide cost analysis and recommendations to improve project profitability.
