Job summary

ASEC Development & Construction Corporation is seeking a Cost Engineer to support project operations at the project site. The role emphasizes cost monitoring, resource requests, documentation, and coordination with the Project Manager, Head Office, and project teams.

You will monitor expenses, prepare cost reports, review budgets, process material and resource requests, and maintain thorough project records.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering
• At least 6 months of experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor project expenses, implement cost control measures, identify variances, prepare cost reports, and manage the project working fund.
• Prepare and process accurate and timely material and resource requests. Review project budget and inventory and coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor on required quantities.
• Coordinate cost-related concerns with the Project Manager, Head Office, and other departments. Monitor project expenditures and assist in the preparation and monitoring of cost claims.
• Maintain and organize project documents, reports, and records. Ensure proper filing, routing, distribution, and compliance with company documentation procedures.
• Perform general clerical duties, manage office supplies and documents, handle correspondence and phone calls, and provide administrative support to the project team.
