adpinternalcareers in Metro Manila is seeking a Payroll Specialist responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, remittances and primary audit for diverse clients. You will coordinate data with Shared Services and ensure timely payroll runs, while maintaining accurate client profiles and employee records.

You will respond to inquiries via phone and email, log issues in Case Management, plan client calls, balance year-end payrolls and remit third-party payments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business or equivalent education is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in client service or systems integration environments.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, remittances & primary audit function for multiple clients with varying payroll complexity.
  • Coordinate data with Shared Services and schedule client payrolls.
  • Maintain accurate client profiles and employee records with processing instructions.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone/email delivering high-level customer service within timelines.
  • Record issues in Case Management database and track until resolution.
  • Plan client conference calls, execute requests, and create/maintain action logs with team.
  • Create and manage client communications; serve as first escalation point for clients.
  • Balance payrolls per COS year-end calendar and remit third-party payments on due dates.
  • Utilize internal tools and processes to ensure payroll compliance and productivity, suggest improvements.
  • Maintain PCP designation and attend required training; support New Client Integration transitions.

Job description

Responsible & accountable for all end to end payroll processing, remittances & primary audit function of several clients varying in payroll complexity (basic to more complex in nature).

Partner with Specialists within the team to evaluate complex programming changes, difficult client setup and/or client project related requests.

Coordinates all incoming payroll data for assigned clients in conjunction with the Shared Services team

Accountable for scheduling and running the assigned client payrolls.

Maintains complete, accurate and timely client profile notes and employee records as well as processing instructions for each client.

Responds to & resolves all incoming telephone calls and/or email inquiries from clients and/or their employees; delivering the highest level of customer service within expected timelines.

Records/updates all client issues and requests in the Case Management database tracking system.

Plan, organize & participate in client conference calls; execute on client requests; create and maintain action plan & or issue log until resolution is attained in conjunction with the Payroll Specialist and/or the Service Manager.

Create & manage client communication & their requests; serves as the first point of escalation for their respective clients.

Balance respective payrolls based on the COS year end calendar and remit all Third Party Remittances by defined due dates, complete accurate Year End balancing, filing & respective reporting

Utilizes all internal tools & defined processes to ensure payroll compliance, optimal productivity & service excellence; make recommendations to streamline internal processing & client input

Maintain and/or pursue full PCP designation & attend all required departmental training sessions; demonstrate proficiency in learning

Partner with New Client Integration team, review set up and participate in the transition of new clients; proactively provide weekly status updates to client where appropriate

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent in education and experience is preferred
  • 1 - 2 years of experience working in client service/customer service environment or systems integration environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent decision making and judgement/leadership skills
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills is required
  • Excellent Service and Results Orientation skills, analytical skills, negotiation skills and expert problem solving skills
