Job summary

Goldwind is seeking a Contracts Supervisor to oversee the commercial administration of EPC and O&M contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring contractual compliance, risk mitigation, and successful commercial outcomes. The role requires close collaboration with Construction and Service teams to manage LC, payments, insurance, bank guarantees and dispute resolution.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in contract execution for large-scale infrastructure international projects.
  • Experience administering FIDIC contracts, including claims, variations and dispute management.
  • Excellent English communication skills, including reading, writing, and oral expression, including the negotiation of contract terms.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Support: Work with Construction/Service teams across project lifecycle, covering LC management, payment management, insurance, bank guarantees, and dispute resolution.
  • Project Handover: Participate in handover from sales to commence contract execution for construction/O&M.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare documentation and conduct customer negotiations for EOC/EC/defaults, and claims management.
  • Correspondence Management: Draft notification letters and payment documents to ensure timely execution of commercial tasks.
  • KPI Monitoring: Proactively monitor KPIs to ensure schedule adherence.
  • Change Order Management: Handle change order negotiations, internal approvals, and signings per policy.
  • Reporting: Maintain structured project execution records and provide management summaries.
  • Document Control: Manage commercial documents for internal audits (quotes, proposals, contracts).

Job description

The Contracts Supervisor is responsible for the commercial administration of EPC and/or O&M contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring contractual compliance, risk mitigation, and successful commercial outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Support: Work closely with the Construction and/or Service team, participate in project lifecycle management, and provide commercial support covering various commercial matters, i.e. letter of credit management, payment management, insurance, bank guarantee management, and support for contract dispute resolution from both customer and sub-contractor/vendor’s perspective.
  • Project Handover: Participate handover meeting from sales team (pre-sales commercial manager) to commence contract execution works for construction and/or O&M contract execution.
  • Contract Administration: Preparation of documentation and customer negotiation meeting for EOC, EC, customer/sub-contractor default, etc. claim management.
  • Correspondence Management: Drafting notification letters, response letters, prepare payment collection documents in a timely manner to ensure routine commercial works to be properly executed
  • KPI Monitoring: Pro-actively monitor KPI of the company during execution phase are achieved per the schedule.
  • Change Order Management: Handle change order negotiation, internal approval, and signing per company policy and budget.
  • Reporting: Keep project execution record in a structured manner and provide summary reports of the execution works to provide supporting to management.
  • Document Control: Manage commercial documents for internal audits, including quotes, proposals, and contracts.

Qualifications:

  • The Contract Manager should have at least 5 years of experience and knowledge in contract execution for large-scale infrastructure sector international projects, with demonstrated experience administering FIDIC contracts, including claims, variations, and dispute management.
  • Academic background in law, business administration, international trade, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in wind power projects (manufacturer, EPC contractor or customer background) is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related/similar fields. Master's degree or professional certification is an advantage
  • Excellent English communication skills, including reading, writing, and oral expression, including the negotiation of contract terms.
  • Results driven and execution-oriented mindset, ability to prioritize with multiple tasks. It will be best to say demonstrated experience.
