Job Summary
Supports project delivery by assisting in contract preparation and compliance, coordinating with EPC contractors and vendors, and helping manage schedules, budgets, permits, and project documentation to ensure timely and compliant project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of Contracts and participate in contract negotiations together with contracting teams from technical and legal.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international legal requirements, analyze potential risks and maintain organized records during contract negotiations.
- Support permitting and jurisdictional approval processes as required for the project construction phases.
- Demonstrate experience with contract specification, EPC selection, and project implementation insurance.
- Review and manage EPC Contractor schedules, budgets, scope, subcontractors, EHS plans and permit compliance.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors to ensure adherence to and compliance with contract terms and deliverables in accordance with the project budget and timeline schedule.
- Lead and/or facilitate project status update meetings with utilities, EPCs, off-takers and finance counterparties, facilitating discussions with a detailed project plan and high‑level status dashboard.
- Support and assist in the management and collection, organization and filing of all project documentation, both internally and for external third‑party stakeholders and project financing needs, using the project‑specific SharePoint filing structure.
- Assist with other duties that may be asked of you, or assigned to you from time to time as required.
Prerequisites
- Proven experience in contract management for utility‑scale renewable energy or power projects.
- Engineering and/or business‑related educational background.
- More than 10 years of experience in EPC contract management and negotiation.
- FIDIC certification or equivalent training in Contract Management is required.
- Strong expertise in Contract Management, with in‑depth knowledge of EPC, PPA, and O&M agreements.
- Familiarity with utility‑scale wind and solar projects.
- Working knowledge of project management tools, FIDIC templates, and project implementation insurances.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
