Job summary

Vena Group seeks a seasoned Contract Manager to drive EPC/contract negotiations for utility-scale renewable energy projects. You will coordinate with technical and legal teams to prepare contracts, assess risks, and ensure compliance across local and international requirements.

The role requires FIDIC certification, strong knowledge of EPC, PPA, and O&M agreements, and proven experience in managing complex contracts with vendors and contractors to meet project timelines and budgets.

Job Summary

Supports project delivery by assisting in contract preparation and compliance, coordinating with EPC contractors and vendors, and helping manage schedules, budgets, permits, and project documentation to ensure timely and compliant project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of Contracts and participate in contract negotiations together with the contracting teams from technical and legal;
  • Ensure compliance with all local and international legal requirements, analyze potential risks and maintain organized records during contract negotiations;
  • Support permitting and jurisdictional approval processes as required for the projects construction phases;
  • Adept at contract management and negotiation, also demonstrate experience with contract specification, EPC selection, and project implementation insurance;
  • Support in the review and management of EPC Contractor, schedules, budgets, scope, subcontractors, EHS plans and permit compliance;
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors to ensure adherence to, and compliance with contract terms and deliverables in accordance with the project budget and timeline schedule;
  • With support from the internal teams, lead and follow through with the compilation of legal letters to be issued as notices, or as responses to letters received, demonstrating accuracy of facts and contractual law.
  • Ensure project quality control and safe construction practices are being adhered to, by participating and conducting on-site inspections as needed, coordinating with 3rd party companies if necessary;
  • Lead and/or facilitate project status update meetings with utilities, EPCs, off-takers and finance counterparties, facilitating discussions with a detailed project plan and high-level status dashboard;
  • Support and assist in the management and collection, organization and filing of all project documentation, both internally and for external third-party stakeholders and project financing needs, using and utilizing the project specific SharePoint filing structure and
  • Assist with other duties that may be asked of you, or assigned to you from time to time as required.
Prerequisites
  • Proven experience in contract management for utility-scale renewable energy or power projects.
  • Engineering and/or business‑related educational background.
  • More than 10 years of experience in EPC contract management and negotiation.
  • FIDIC certification or equivalent training in Contract Management is required.
  • Strong expertise in Contract Management, with in‑depth knowledge of EPC, PPA, and O&M agreements.
  • Familiarity with utility‑scale wind and solar projects.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools, FIDIC templates, and project implementation insurances.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
