One Outsource Direct Corporation is seeking a Contracts Engineer/Contracts Administrator to manage project contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements across the project lifecycle.
The role oversees contract administration, risk management, variation claims, and contractual communications while supporting cross-functional project teams, particularly around FIDIC provisions and timely issue resolution.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Engineer / Contracts Administrator to manage project contracts and ensure compliance with contractual, commercial, and project requirements. The successful candidate will oversee contract administration, risk management, variation claims, and contractual communications while providing support to cross-functional project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Administer and manage project contracts in accordance with contract conditions, project requirements, and FIDIC provisions.
Review contract documents, commercial terms, and assess the contractual impact of changes in project scope, specifications, and drawings.
Monitor contractual obligations, project milestones, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
Provide contractual advice and support to Project Controls, Planning, Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Engineering, and Construction teams.
Maintain accurate records of correspondence, notices, claims, variations, and other contractual communications.
Identify contractual risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Assist in subcontract administration, bid evaluations, and contract closeout activities.
Prepare contractual and commercial reports and provide recommendations to project management on contract-related matters.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of contractual issues.
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract administration, project controls, commercial management, or construction contracts.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC Contracts, variation management, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and contract administration processes.
Ability to analyze project inputs related to scheduling, cost control, quantity surveying, and procurement.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple contractual requirements and deadlines.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
