Job summary

RecruitFirst is seeking a procurement professional to review and negotiate IT contracts with suppliers for IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with policy and risk management. The role collaborates with Strategic Sourcing, Group Legal and IT stakeholders to derive optimal value from the supply market.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in procurement-related functions, strong stakeholder management, and experience reviewing SOWs, quotations and procurement documents.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree holder.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management, vendor management, commercial analysis, or related functions.
• Experience reviewing contracts, SOWs, quotations, commercial proposals, and supporting procurement documentation is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with business users, vendors, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate IT contracts with suppliers on IT initiatives across the Bank.
• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Group Legal and IT stakeholders to protect the Bank and optimize value from the supply market.
• Ensure compliance with the Bank's policies, process standards, and guidelines.
• Provide advice on contracts, explain contract gaps, and mitigate contract risks to stakeholders effectively.
• Maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders and colleagues to ensure risk-aware culture.

Salary: Up to $3600 + 1 month bonus

Duration: 1 year renewable / convertible

Working Hours: Mon to Thurs 9am to 6.30pm, Fri 9am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate IT contracts with suppliers on IT initiatives across the Bank.
• Working in close collaboration with the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement colleagues, Group Legal and IT stakeholders to protect the Bank and to optimize the value from the supply market.
• Ensure compliance to the Bank's policies, process standards, and guidelines.
• Provide advice on contracts, explain the impact of contract gaps, and mitigate contract risks to the stakeholders effectively and collaboratively.
• Ensure the right risk of culture through strong communication lines with stakeholders and colleagues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree Holder.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management, vendor management, commercial analysis, or related functions.
• Experience reviewing contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), quotations, commercial proposals, and supporting procurement documentation will be advantageous.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, vendors, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams.
