Job summary

Megawide Construction Corporation is seeking a proactive Learning and Development Supervisor to lead training initiatives and manage learning programs for the construction workforce. The role focuses on advancing tradesmen training and overall workforce development, with a hands-on approach to coordinating with project teams and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years in construction L&D or training roles, strong leadership, and a track record of implementing effective learning

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Psychology, HRM, Education or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant construction industry experience, especially in tradesmen training and workforce development.
• Experience as an L&D or Training Officer focusing on coordination, program management and implementation.
• Strong leadership and management skills, capable of executing initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Disciplined, proactive, innovative, and willing to go the extra mile.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement learning and development programs aligned with organizational and project requirements.
• Lead and oversee training initiatives, particularly tradesmen training and workforce skills development.
• Assess training needs, identify competency gaps, and recommend learning interventions.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of training programs.
• Monitor training effectiveness and evaluate the impact of learning initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and introduce innovative approaches to workforce development.
