Job summary

Onel Builder Resources, Inc. is seeking a Construction Purchaser to source and procure materials, negotiate terms, and coordinate delivery for timely project support. The role focuses on cost efficiency, supplier management, and collaboration with project teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields and at least two years in construction purchasing, with strong Excel and ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of construction purchasing experience.
• Familiarity with construction materials and supplier networks.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials, tools, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to secure the best value.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, warehouse personnel, and suppliers regarding procurement requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment to avoid project delays.
• Track purchase orders and resolve issues related to shortages, delays, or damaged deliveries.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, and cost reports.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
