Job summary

Realcognita is seeking a detail-oriented Document Control/Drawing Management professional in the Philippines to monitor drawings, manage revisions, and coordinate with engineering teams across precast concrete and structural works. You will track submissions, ensure up-to-date documentation, and support project handovers with clear communication.

The role requires experience in drafting or document control, strong Excel skills, and excellent written English.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, construction, drafting or technical document control.
• Good understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
• Ability to recognise drawing changes and assess their relevance to precast concrete and structural steel.
• Experience with document management systems such as Aconex/TeamBinder/ACC is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills including drawing registers, revision tracking and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Good written English and communication skills.
• Proactive, reliable and proactive in following up with teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client platforms daily (Aconex, TeamBinder, ACC, Dropbox, email, etc.) and identify new drawings, revisions and RFIs.
• Review drawing titles, revision numbers and transmittals to understand changes and relevance to our scope.
• Maintain an organised drawing register with latest revisions and document status.
• Ensure superseded drawings are clearly identified and accessible to teams.
• Notify Team Leaders of information affecting their projects and highlight important revisions.
• Identify discrepancies between architectural and structural drawings and escalate where needed.
• Follow up on missing drawings, outstanding information and pending responses.
• Maintain consistent folder structures, naming conventions and revision control across projects.
• Track submissions, approvals, comments, rejections and resubmissions; support handovers with correct information.
