Job summary

Shore360, a 100% Australian-owned BP firm based in the Philippines, is seeking an Accountant to join the finance team of a leading Australian construction company. You will support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting with a strong focus on accuracy and timely processing.

Key duties include reconciliations, general ledger support, AP/AR, and assisting with insurance renewals and reporting deadlines. On-site work with Shore Xtra Perks such as Day 1 HMO and attendance bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately matched with company records and bank statements.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Assist with accounts receivable invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile bank accounts and corporate credit cards while tracking costs and expenses.
• Assist with annual insurance renewals.
• Prepare and upload bank files for payment runs.
• Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial results in line with company policies and reporting deadlines.
• Support the preparation and processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Review expenses, payroll records, and other financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Upload construction budgets and claims for new projects.
• Provide accounting and administrative support to other departments as required.
• Assist the finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks and queries.
• Identify opportunities and contribute to process improvements.
• Perform other duties as required to support the finance team and business objectives.
