Job summary

SGS in the Philippines is seeking a meticulous back-office professional to support TFS Switzerland operations. You will handle rules-based processing, documentation, certification handling and trade follow-up, while SGS Switzerland maintains customer-facing relationships.

Responsibilities include processing inspection requests, registering licenses, issuing CoCs and coordinating with exporters and the Certification Center, ensuring quality and timeliness in all actions.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification and at least 3 years in a related role.
• Minimum 2 years in trade/import-export back-office operations.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage for Swiss operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document processing.
• Proficiency with operational systems, including LIMS and sanctioned tools.

Responsibilities

• Process inspection requests and review accuracy and completeness.
• Back-office execution of registration and licensing.
• Issue CoCs, amendments and replacements per country standards.
• Interface between SGS Switzerland and the trade for case execution.
• Ensure quality, timeliness and adherence to service levels.
• Generate invoices, follow up on payments, and record transactions.
• Coordinate with exporters for required documents and info.
• Prepare regular job status reports for the Switzerland operation.
• Comply with QMS procedures, IVP rules and country instructions.
• Maintain day-to-day operations in a timely and proper manner.
