Job summary

Net Pacific, Inc. in Pasig City is seeking a Commercial Engineer who bridges engineering excellence with commercial viability. You will develop cost estimates, budgets and commercial proposals while monitoring costs, variations and risks across electrical, electronics and communications projects.

You will collaborate with project managers, procurement and finance to ensure commercial compliance, track profitability, and support closeout with final accounts and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years in construction, MEPF, or commercial/project engineering.
• Knowledge of contract administration, cost control, billing, variation orders and claims.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and commercial documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; project management software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

About the role

We are seeking a talented Commercial Engineer to join Net Pacific, Inc. in Pasig City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. In this pivotal position, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering excellence and commercial viability, playing a strategic role in the development and delivery of electrical, electronics and communication solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our engineering projects are not only technically sound but also commercially competitive and aligned with market demands. Key responsibilities

• Prepare project cost estimates, budget, and commercial proposals
• Monitor project costs, variations, and commercial risks
• Prepare and submit progress billings, variation order, and claims
• Evaluate additional costs arising from design changes, site instructions, or delays
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance to ensure commercial compliance
• Track project revenue, costs, and profitability
• Prepare commercial report, cash flow forecasts, and cost analyses
• Ensure contract obligations and documentation and properly maintained
• Assist in revolving contractual disputes and commercial issues
• Support project closeout, including final accounts and documentation

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Civil or a related discipline
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in construction, MEPF, or commercial/project engineering
• Knowledge of contract administration, cost control, billing, variation orders and claims
• Familiarity with construction contracts and commercial documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of project management software is an advantage
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
