Job summary

Net Pacific, Inc. in Pasig City is seeking a Commercial Engineer who bridges engineering excellence with commercial viability. You will develop cost estimates, budgets and commercial proposals while monitoring costs, variations and risks across electrical, electronics and communications projects.

You will collaborate with project managers, procurement and finance to ensure commercial compliance, track profitability, and support closeout with final accounts and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years in construction, MEPF, or commercial/project engineering.
• Knowledge of contract administration, cost control, billing, variation orders and claims.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and commercial documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; project management software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project cost estimates, budget, and commercial proposals.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and commercial risks.
• Submit progress billings, variation orders, and claims.
• Evaluate costs from design changes, site instructions, or delays.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance for commercial compliance.
• Track revenue, costs, and profitability of projects.
• Prepare commercial reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost analyses.
• Ensure contract obligations and documentation are maintained.
• Assist in resolving contractual disputes and commercial issues.
• Support project closeout, including final accounts and documentation.
