Job summary

The Growth Collective Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Licensed Electrical Engineer for Construction Projects in Taguig. This project-based role (initial 6 months, renewable) supports pre-construction, construction, and close-out phases to ensure quality, schedule, and cost compliance.

You will coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders, oversee site inspections, witness testing, manage documentation, and help finalize as-built and close-out reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering project environments.
• Experience in site coordination, contractor supervision, and project monitoring.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively with project teams, contractors, and consultants.

Responsibilities

Licensed Electrical Engineer - Construction Projects

Location: Taguig, Metro Manila

Start Date: ASAP / March / April

Engagement: Project-based (initial 6 months, renewable)

We are looking for an Electronics and Communications Engineer with experience in construction project supervision, contractor coordination, and quality monitoring to support an ongoing project in Taguig.

This role will oversee project activities across pre-construction, construction, and project close-out phases, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost compliance while working closely with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Pre-Construction Phase

• Review project plans and specifications and assist in finalizing design criteria based on project standards.
• Conduct constructability reviews of plans and documentation for bidding and construction.
• Prepare preliminary project schedules and bid/award schedules for work packages.
• Support value engineering initiatives to identify cost efficiencies without compromising functionality.
• Assist in contractor pre-qualification and participate in bid processes.
• Support the organization of pre-bid conferences and evaluation of contractor proposals.
• Assist in negotiations and issuance of notices of award and notices to proceed.
• Participate in pre-construction coordination meetings with contractors and consultants.

Construction Phase

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure works comply with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Witness testing of materials and equipment during installation.
• Monitor contractor schedules and compare actual progress against project timelines.
• Identify potential project risks or delays and recommend preventive measures.
• Review contractor requests for time extensions and provide recommendations.
• Review contractor billing and payment applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and review change orders and ensure proper documentation.
• Conduct site coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Issue non-compliance notices to contractors when contractual requirements are not met.
• Maintain project documentation including site logs, drawings, submittals, and reports.
• Witness testing and commissioning of installed systems and utilities.

Post-Construction Phase

• Conduct final inspections with the project team and consultants.
• Prepare and manage punch lists and verify completion of corrective actions.
• Witness final testing and commissioning of installed systems and equipment.
• Ensure submission of as-built drawings and equipment operation manuals.
• Assist in project close-out documentation and final project reporting.
