Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer for night shift with full-time remote work from Metro Manila, Philippines. The role focuses on developing electrical designs for MEP projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

Responsibilities include AutoCAD MEP and Revit design, NEC/NFPA standards, load calculations, panel schedules, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to use AutoCAD MEP and Revit to produce design drawings.
• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in MEP design and consulting.
• Hands‑on expertise in electrical equipment maintenance and installations.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD MEP and Revit for project design and implementation.
• Apply knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and Building Codes.
• Develop power, lighting plans and riser diagrams.
• Perform electrical load calculations and create panel schedules.
• Develop equipment and system specifications.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, architects and other consultants.
• Communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders.
• Contribute to engineering reports for existing buildings.
• Review submittals for project compliance.
• Respond to RFIs promptly and accurately.
• Deliver MEP projects on time and within budget.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in MEP engineering design and consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing electrical designs, preparing engineering documentation, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered with a high level of quality, on schedule, and within budget.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD MEP and Revit for effective project design and implementation.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of Building Codes, National Electrical Code (NEC), and NFPA Standards.
• Develop comprehensive power plans, lighting plans, and riser diagrams.
• Conduct electrical load calculations and create panel schedules.
• Develop equipment and system specifications.
• Collaborate and coordinate with owners, clients, architects, interior designers, and other consultants to create coordinated contract documents.
• Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
• Contribute to engineering reports for existing buildings.
• Review equipment and system submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) promptly and accurately.
