Job summary

Q2 HR Solutions seeks an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to oversee and manage commercial and contractual activities for large-scale thermal power generation projects in the Philippines. The role focuses on contract development, negotiation, administration, and risk management across the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with Legal, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure contracts are commercially sound, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Commercial Contracts Management or Project Contracts Management.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM contracts in power/energy sectors.
• Proven drafting, negotiation, claims management and dispute resolution skills.
• Strong understanding of commercial risk management and contract lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial and project contracts incl. EPC/EPCM, equipment supply, O&M, LTSA.
• Manage full contract lifecycle from development to handover.
• Provide commercial advice to internal stakeholders during negotiations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; manage variations and disputes.
• Coordinate with Legal, Engineering, Procurement and Project teams on contract matters.
• Establish and improve contract management processes and governance.
