Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Principal Contracts Manager in Pasig to lead senior contracting for new-build and large-scale capital projects in thermal and conventional power.

You will drive end-to-end contract strategy under FIDIC Silver Book, draft and negotiate terms, and administer EPC frameworks to secure favorable risk allocation and total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• At least 8–10 years in project procurement and/or EPC contract management, with demonstrated ownership of major-project contracting.
• Leadership: At least 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• Project Experience: Direct exposure to new-build power / large-scale CAPEX projects strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads Owner-side EPC/long-term contracts drafting.
• Structures risk allocation, damages, and milestone payments.
• Incorporates defensive drafting: notices, time-bars, force majeure.
• Develops and maintains contract templates.
• Administers post-award variations and notices.
• Supports claims, EOT, and dispute positioning.
• Coordinates with Legal, ERM, and external counsel.
• Strategic sourcing and vendor selection for projects.
