About the role

As a Business Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality instruction in business-related courses, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for success in the corporate world. Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive business coursework aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives


• Create and implement engaging lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools that promote active student learning


• Conduct lectures, seminars, and practical sessions across various business disciplines such as management, accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, and organizational behavior


• Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, projects, and presentations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth


• Maintain detailed records of student attendance, grades, and progress, ensuring compliance with institutional policies


• Collaborate with fellow faculty members to develop interdisciplinary approaches and ensure curriculum coherence


• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous curriculum improvement initiatives


• Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students, supporting their professional development and career aspirations


• Stay current with industry developments and integrate contemporary business practices and case studies into teaching

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field; Doctoral degree preferred


• Proven teaching experience in tertiary education, preferably in business or related disciplines


• Strong subject matter expertise in one or more business areas such as management, accounting, economics, finance, marketing, or human resources


• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences


• Demonstrated ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment


• Proficiency in using educational technology platforms and learning management systems


• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple courses and administrative responsibilities


• Commitment to professional development and staying abreast of current trends and best practices in business education


• Professional accreditation or certification in relevant business fields (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMP) is advantageous


• Industry experience in the business or corporate sector would be beneficial and add practical value to instruction
