Job summary

AMA Computer College Inc. in Baguio City, Benguet is seeking an experienced SHS Academic Coordinator to oversee academic operations and quality assurance of our Senior High School programs.

This full-time role focuses on maintaining standards and supporting faculty and students. You will implement institutional policies, coordinate curriculum delivery, manage timetables and ensure the smooth delivery of SHS education while monitoring performance and liaising with parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years’ experience in academic coordination, curriculum development or educational administration at secondary or tertiary level.
• Strong knowledge of SHS curriculum frameworks and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Leadership experience and ability to coordinate faculty and staff.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SHS Academic Coordinator to join our team at AMA Computer College Inc. in Baguio City, Benguet. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the academic operations and quality assurance of our Senior High School (SHS) programs. The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring academic excellence, maintaining educational standards, and supporting both faculty and students in achieving their academic goals. You will be instrumental in implementing institutional policies, coordinating curriculum delivery, and enhancing the overall educational experience at our Baguio campus.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, implementation and monitoring of SHS academic programs to ensure alignment with institutional standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with faculty members to develop, review and update course curricula, ensuring relevance and quality in content delivery
• Schedule classes, manage timetables and allocate academic resources to optimize learning outcomes
• Monitor student academic performance and identify areas requiring intervention or support
• Conduct regular classroom observations and faculty evaluations to maintain teaching quality and professional standards
• Facilitate professional development programs and training sessions for teaching staff
• Manage student enrolment, assessment procedures and academic records in compliance with institutional policies
• Liaise between students, faculty and parents to address academic concerns and foster a supportive learning environment
• Prepare academic reports and performance data for management review and strategic planning
• Ensure compliance with national educational standards and accreditation requirements

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, Educational Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in academic coordination, curriculum development or educational administration at the secondary or tertiary level
• Strong knowledge of Senior High School (SHS) curriculum frameworks and teaching methodologies
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in team management and faculty coordination
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in educational management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Understanding of quality assurance principles and assessment methodologies in education
• Knowledge of educational policies, regulations and accreditation standards in the Philippines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced academic environment
