Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in IT concepts including programming, databases, networking, systems administration.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse student audiences.
• Experience with learning management systems and educational technology tools.

AMA Computer College Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Instructor for the BSIT Program to join our academic team in Baguio City, Benguet. As an instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of information technology professionals by delivering high-quality education, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for successful careers in the rapidly evolving technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver engaging lectures, practical demonstrations and laboratory sessions for BSIT program courses in accordance with the approved curriculum
• Create and maintain comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, quizzes and examinations that align with learning objectives
• Assess student performance through a variety of methods including exams, assignments, projects and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback to support learning
• Mentor and guide students academically, providing support during office hours and helping them understand complex technical concepts
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in information technology education to keep curriculum relevant and engaging
• Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to ensure curriculum coherence and interdisciplinary integration

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is preferred)
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in the information technology industry or IT-related field
• Proven teaching or training experience in an educational institution, corporate training environment or equivalent setting
• Strong proficiency in core IT concepts including programming languages, database management, networking, systems administration and software development methodologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an accessible manner to diverse student audiences
• Proficiency in using learning management systems, educational technology tools and digital platforms
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple courses, assessments and student interactions simultaneously
• Passion for education and commitment to student success, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners
• Familiarity with Philippine educational standards and K-12 to higher education transition framework is advantageous
