Job summary

BDO Credit in Ortigas is seeking a collections-focused professional to support the liquidation of written-off portfolios within our consumer banking operations.

You will design and implement collection strategies, coordinate with third-party service providers, and ensure adherence to SLAs, regulatory standards, and internal guidelines. The role requires 2–3 years in collections and a four-year business degree, with onsite work in Ortigas.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years working experience in collections, preferably from a bank or financial institution.
• Graduate of any four-year business course.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates the organizational effectiveness of an agency, its operations, programs, performance, processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
• Facilitates waivers, reversals, special request of clients.
• Reviews/prepares agency billings for check preparation.
• Conducts call-outs and field visitations to assigned collection agencies.
• Monitors written-off accounts due for endorsement to assigned collection agencies.

The position is primarily responsible for helping in effective management through liquidation of written-off portfolio:

• Designing and implementing effective collection strategies and other enhancement techniques to ensure achievement of collection goals
• Managing business relationship and coordinating with Third Party Service Provider handling written-off accounts to ensure adequacy of business operations support, achievement of targets in accordance with established SLAs, guidelines, regulatory rules and standards
