Job summary

S&P Global in Manila is seeking a detail‑oriented Debt Collector to join our Credit and Collections team. You will follow up with clients via calls and emails to secure payments on overdue invoices while upholding internal controls.

The role requires 2+ years in B2B collections, strong English communication, and solid customer service focus. MS Office skills are required; SAP, Salesforce or HighRadius experience is a bonus as you partner with order management and finance to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a B2B collections environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving orientation.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP/Salesforce/HighRadius experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up with clients via calls and emails for overdue invoices.
• Enforce payment, cancellation, and suspension/termination policies.
• Own customer disputes through to resolution.
• Ensure activities align with internal controls and processes.
• Perform sales ledger reconciliations as required.
• Respond promptly to customer and internal inquiries.
• Escalate debt issues to account and line managers.
• Collaborate with order management, customer service, cash applications, and sales teams to resolve queries and disputes.
• Provide information on refunds, payment forms, discrepancies, and tax forms/procedures.
