Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a debt collections professional in Manila to actively pursue overdue payments and manage customer disputes. The role emphasizes adherence to policy, collaboration with related teams, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will handle communications via calls and emails, ensure process compliance, and support liquidity by reducing delinquency rates and bad debts across the accounts receivable function.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a B2B collections environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and goal orientation.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce or HighRadius in AR environment is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with clients via calls and emails for overdue payments.
• Enforce policies related to payment, cancellation, and suspension of services.
• Own and resolve customer disputes to resolution.
• Ensure activities align with internal controls and processes.
• Perform Sales Ledger reconciliations as required.
• Respond promptly to customer and internal inquiries.
• Escalate debt issues to account and line managers.
• Collaborate with order management and sales teams to resolve queries.
