Job summary

Regent Construction International Inc is seeking a capable site supervisor for ongoing El Sol Project in Punta Engaño, Lapu City. The role requires ensuring works comply with drawings, specs, and method statements while coordinating with engineers and contractors.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in high-rise residential construction, and be willing to work at the site with flexibility for other projects as directions evolve.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in construction with high-rise residential projects is preferred.
• Willing to work at El Sol Project - Punta Engaño Lapu, Lapu City.
• Open to assignment to other projects if directions change.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction works follow approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Check location, dimensions, elevations, alignment, and level of structural and architectural elements.
• Monitor daily civil and structural activities at the project site.
• Oversee concrete works, rebar installation, formworks, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, screeding, excavation, backfilling, and related activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects or non-conforming works.
• Monitor testing activities such as concrete pours and material testing.
• Ensure timely correction of deficiencies by contractors.
• Coordinate with QAD team for inspections, testing, and approval of works.
• Review inspection requests, checklists, test results, and other quality documents.
• Monitor rectification of defective works and verify completion before closing items.
• Identify discrepancies and site conditions affecting construction.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer, Architect, MEPF engineers, consultants, and contractors on technical concerns.
• Raise technical concerns and prepare site observations and RFIs.
• Ensure latest approved drawings are used on site.
• Provide daily and weekly updates on status of works.
• Identify delays and issues affecting subsequent activities.
• Coordinate with contractors on manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Follow up critical activities to meet targets.
• Issue site instructions or recommendations as needed.
• Assist in evaluating contractor claims, progress billing, and accomplishment reports.

Qualification:

• preferably with experience working in construction industry with projects in highrise residential


• must be willing to work in El Sol Project - Punta Engaño Lapu, Lapu City


• must be open incase to be assigned in other projects incase there are new directions

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1. Ensure that construction works are being performed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.


• 2. Check the proper location, dimensions, elevations, alignment, and level of structural and architectural elements.


• 3. Monitor daily civil and structural activities at the project site.


• 4. Monitor concrete works, rebar installation, formworks, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, screeding, excavation, backfilling, and other civil and structural-related activities.


• 5. Conduct regular site inspections and identify defective, incomplete, or non-conforming works.


• 6. Monitor testing activities such as concrete pouring, material testing, and structural inspections.


• 7. Monitor OSM (Owner Supply Material) material deliveries and usage on site.


• 8. Ensure that contractors immediately correct identified deficiencies.


• 9. Coordinate with the QAD Team for inspections, testing, and approval of works.


• 10. Review and verify inspection requests, checklists, test results, and other quality documents.


• 11. Monitor rectification of defective works and verify completion before closing the items.


• 12. Identify discrepancies, conflicts, and site conditions that may affect construction.


• 13. Coordinate with the Project Engineer, Architect, MEPF Engineers, consultants, and contractors regarding technical concerns.


• 14. Raise technical concerns and prepare site observations, requests for information, and other necessary reports.


• 15. Ensure that the latest approved drawings are being used at site.


• 16. Provide daily and weekly updates on the status of assigned works.


• 17. Identify delays and issues that may affect succeeding activities.


• 18. Coordinate with contractors regarding manpower, materials, equipment, and work schedules.


• 19. Follow up critical activities and ensure that contractors meet their committed targets.


• 20. Issue site instructions or recommendations through the proper management process when necessary.


• 21. Assist in evaluating contractor claims, progress billing, and accomplishment reports when required.


• 22. Coordinate with the Safety Officer to ensure that structural works are performed safely.


• 23. Attend coordination meetings and provide updates on site activities.


• 24. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
