Job summary

Regent Construction International Inc in Lapu-Lapu City seeks an experienced engineer to supervise electrical construction activities on site at the El Sol Project, Punta Engaño. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of any Engineering course or equivalent.
• Preferably Licensed Engineer
• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in construction site supervision, preferably in a residential development company with hands-on experience in vertical projects.
• Familiarity with proper safety procedures and hazard recognition.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written).
• Must be willing to work on-site at El Sol Project, Punta Engaño Lapu Lapu City.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all electrical/auxiliary construction activities on site.
• Ensure all electrical/auxiliary works comply with approved plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Monitor contractor manpower, productivity, and daily work progress.
• Conduct inspections of electrical/auxiliary installations to ensure quality workmanship.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Monitor and supervise installation and testing of transformers, generator sets, ATS, switch gears, panels, and electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with the local electric utility for temporary and permanent power connections, energization, and meter installation.
• Witness testing and commissioning of all electrical systems and equipment.
• Verify contractor accomplishment for progress billing and work completion.
• Prepare weekly, and monthly accomplishments and progress reports.
• Ensure all electrical/auxiliary materials delivered on site conform to approved specifications.
• Identify and resolve electrical/auxiliary construction issues and technical concerns.
• Conduct site inspections and issue punch list items for rectification.
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Department (QAD) during inspections and acceptance.
• Review and verify as-built drawings, operation manuals, warranties, and turnover documents.
• Attend coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, utility providers, and project management.
• Prepares detailed schedule tied up on the general schedule prepared by the Project Manager.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• Support Occupancy Permit, Building Permit, and utility inspection requirements.
• Prepares RFI/RFA and follow up response in case of plan deviation.
• Checks and evaluates billing of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
