Job summary

Global Group Investment & Property Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to assist in planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of construction projects at sites in Cebu and beyond.

You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery in line with approved plans and specifications. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with licensure preferred, and proves strong communication, problem solving, and independent work ethic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
• Relevant experience in construction/project management.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, plans, specs, and docs.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day project activities at the assigned site.
• Ensure construction works follow approved plans, specs, and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and review project documents, reports, estimates, and progress updates.
• Monitor timelines, materials, manpower, and site requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards.
• Assist in resolving technical and construction-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Track progress and report delays, issues, or risks to the Project Manager.
• Participate in meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of construction projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with approved plans and specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day project activities at the assigned site

• Ensure that construction works are carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and schedules

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders

• Prepare and review project documentation, reports, estimates, and progress updates

• Monitor project timelines, materials, manpower, and site requirements

• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards

• Assist in resolving technical and construction-related issues

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Track project progress and report any delays, issues, or risks to the Project Manager

• Participate in project meetings and coordinate necessary follow-up actions

JOB QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field

• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred

• Relevant experience in construction/project management

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, plans, specifications, and project documentation

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering/project management software is an advantage

• Organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team

• Proactive with strong work ethics

• Willing to be assigned outside Cebu and relocate to project sites when required
