Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor engineering projects.

Supervise all engineering activities and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to aid and technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Documentation
Prepares Accomplishment Reports
Prepares Schedule Update
Take and Document Project Photos
Prepare Sub con and Supplier Billings, requisition of materials, bill of quantities and bill of materials
Prepare Tabulation of Change Order
Prepares Request for Information (RFI) when necessary
Prepares Request for Approval (RFA) when necessary
Prepares Concrete Pouring Request (CPR) before actual concrete pouring
Update Logbook of Daily Contractor’s Report (for Occupancy Permit)
Updates Weather Chart Daily
Witness and document material testing results
Technical
Anticipate probable conflicts with the approved plans
Investigates all problems encountered on-site regarding technical issues
Supervise surveying/layout of the project
Directs and supervises all engineering activities
Works closely with the Foreman in selecting procedures and methods of various work
Estimates various project material needs
Follow up on material/equipment to ensure timely response to action items
Schedule and monitor program of activities to achieve an “on-time” result
Administrative
Investigates and helps resolve conflicts among site personnel
Discuss Safety and Heath related matters with the Safety Officer of the project regularly
In the absence of Project-In-Charge, the Project Engineer is bound to perform the duties of the P.I.C.
Other tasks that may be assigned by supervisors from time to time.
